Study visit in Rotterdam - Integrated Territorial Investments

In December we have organized a study visit to Rotterdam for representatives of self-government from Lower Silesia. We have discussed the issue of planning in functional urban areas. One of the main topics was the implementation system of Integrated Territorial Investments.

Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI’s) are an instrument allowing implementation of integrated territorial strategies. To ensure their integrated character, within the ITI funding can be drawn on several priority axes of one or more Operational Programmes. In case of ITI’s, Managing Authorities of programmes can delegate some of implementation related tasks to local authorities.
